The 1st of 4 “Cornerstone” commissions for the Greenway, a new boulevard park around downtown Greensboro, NC. Embodying the themes of “Motion & Education” the sculpture suggests the profile of a book and, elevated on columns, creates a gateway to the Greenway. The sculpture contains iconic embedments relating to the City and neighborhood created collaboratively with local found metal artist, Frank Russell, and local students.
